Funds Raised for BC/EFA!

The journey that was to become Rainbows & Ribbons began as a fundraising idea. Given my interest in musical theater, and my own care of former Broadway performers, it seemed like a natural match to ask Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS to ask If they would allow us to raise money for them. Normally, Broadway Cares produces its own fundraisers as they raise money for AIDS service organizations around the country.

I was thrilled to be able to send in our donation on December 16, 2017 with a letter describing our plans to keep doing just that for other organizations. Their response is below:

Hi, Ross: 

Thank you so much for the $3,000 donation that landed on my desk today, the proceeds from your recent cabaret show, RAINBOWS AND RIBBONS!   Thank you for this very generous gift and for including BC/EFA as the beneficiary of your wonderful performances.   It is all very much appreciated.

My best as you take the show across the country, raising money for other AIDS organizations, many of which I’m sure are current BC/EFA grantees.   So in fact, you will be helping them twice.  Wonderful.
